This piece was done for my Anatomical Illustration class taken at the Rochester Institute of Technology. The goal of the exercise was to replicate a classic Michelangelo work in order to gain a better understanding of human anatomy. While working on this piece I really furthered my understanding of how to capture the specific nuances of form found in how the skin and musculature interact with one another.
