My name is Henry Ploch III, I'm an illustrator and sculptor from Buffalo, NY, currently pursuing a Bachelor of Fine Arts at the Rochester Institute of Technology. My creative practice is deeply influenced by my experiences outdoors—whether hiking, fishing, birdwatching, or simply out photographing nature. These experiences fuel my fascination with the natural world, which I translate into both realistic and imaginative works of art.
Beyond nature, I draw inspiration from film and literature, especially science fiction and horror, which shapes much of my character design and conceptual work. I mainly specialize in illustrating—and occasionally sculpting—both real and fictional animals, blending observation with a touch of imagination.
I am passionate about pursuing creature design within the entertainment industry, while also remaining open to a variety of freelance opportunities that allow me to expand my artistic scope.
